What is important to you when considering internet connectivity?
Occasionally check emails, use social media, apps or browse the internet.
eForce provides complimentary Wi-Fi in Olympia London. The service is not supported. We also provide basic daily connections, priced per device and supported by our engineers. It is useful to consider what type of device you will be using on the day. We will be happy to explain this in more detail.
A more reliable internet connection that is unlikely to drop out.
Devices such as laptops or PCs can be plugged into our network via a wired connection. A wired connection provides the most consistent and reliable link. Wi-Fi zones are available for mobile devices, however due to the nature of exhibitions – a large number of people in a confined space, with lots of potential interference from other equipment, metals and so on – this service is not as resilient as a wired connection.
To connect back to my office network and download files.
You will need to order at least 1 Mbps wired internet access. Make sure you have also checked with your IT department that your device can connect, and that you know how to set this up. To download large PDF files, video content, stream or show presentations online, you will need a higher bandwidth speed – ideally between 2 – 4 Mbps.
To offer free branded Wi-Fi to my customers.
Our Wi-Fi zones can cater for up to 30 people at any one time. This service provides you with your own SSID, your own logo and log-in page, usernames and passwords. Another key advantage is access to post-show stats on who used your Wi-Fi. This solution will also allow you to collect sales leads from the show and input directly into your CRM system.
Connect multiple devices to the internet.
The number of devices you wish to connect will determine the bandwidth required. We will be happy to advise you on how best to plan for this. Warning: we strongly recommend that you do not try to set up your own network. Known in the industry as ‘rogue devices’ your equipment is likely to interfere with the WiFi provision at the event, and you may be required to take it down. We will be able to devise a better solution by working together.
If you are connecting several iPads to a demo box on your stand, we now have an exciting new system that can create your own private network, over a VLAN, back to your demo server. Just contact us to find out more.
